Observation, Identification and Reporting of Marine Species
The AMSO (Asian, Arabian, African Marine Species Observer) programmes train participants to competently identify, monitor and report the presence of key marine species within coastal and offshore environments across Asia, Arabia and Africa. The progamme supports safe and environmentally responsible operations by ensuring observers can contribute effectively to project-level mitigation and impact-reduction measures.
Designed as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course for professionals working in the maritime and offshore sectors, the AMSO programme is also suitable for individuals from a wide rage of backgrounds who wish to develop foundational skills in marine species obeservation.
