  • Length: Medium dolphin measuring roughly 1.8–3 metres

  • Group Size: Small groups, generally fewer than ten individuals

  • Key Features: Variable hump and fin; gray‑pink mottled coloration

  • Behaviour: Slow surfacing; occasional leaps and vertical rises

  • Habitat: Shallow tropical coastal waters, bays, estuaries, reefs

  • Conservation Status: Listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List
